Why I Can't Vote for Obama

Regardless of who is elected, I know who the real leader is.

God simply does not approve of Obama's treatment of children in the womb.

McCain understands when life begins. Even with two daughters Obama has no clue.

How many commandments have you broken? Did you support it or condone it?

How about me you might ask? All ten.

Yes, abortion is murder. Denying this fact only mocks God.

The great thing is that Jesus forgives. All you have to do is accept and ask for forgiveness.

God is in charge. We are just electing a President.

(2) There are more reasons, but this is MY primary reason.

Hear are others:

I think the government will do a better job of spending my money than I could.
When we pull out of Afghanistan and Iraq, I know the Islamic terrorists will stop trying to kill us.

I believe people who can’t tell us if it will rain in two or three days can now tell us the polar ice caps
will disappear in a century if we don’t comply with Orwellian government economic oversight.
English has no place being the official language in America.
I’d rather pay $4 for a gallon of gas than allow drilling for oil off the coasts of America or in that
vast Alaskan wasteland, ANWR.
Big Oil’s five-percent profit on a gallon of gas is obscene, but the government tax of 18 to 35 percent
on the same gallon of gas is just fine.
I believe businesses in America should not be allowed to make profit—it should be confiscated
by the government so politicians and bureaucrats can redistribute that profit as they see fit.
I believe guns cause crimes and murder, not the sociopaths using them and guns should be confiscated.

When someone threatens my family, I know the government can respond faster with a call to 911
than I can with a gun in my hand.
It’s alright to kill millions of innocent babies while objecting to the death penalty for murderers.

This is how the Democratic Party believes!!

No, I don't think we should have an official language. We are a country founded by immigrants. We're not a "melting pot", as people like to put it. Our cultural differences and the fact that we can come together and share them with one another is part of what makes us so great. Forcing one language, one culture on us all would take away something that is fundamentally American- freedom.

Yes, I would rather pay more for gas than destroy our environment. Think of the world your descendants will be living in if we keep up with the pollution and over consumption of natural resources. Maybe if we invested in more green technologies, fuel costs would go down and we could save the environment at the same time. You have such reverence for the miracle of life that you say is granted by God to women who may not even be fit to handle that life (for one reason or another), but you're so quick to turn your back on the Earth that your scriptures say God created for us. How then is our planet any different from a human life? The Earth is the womb of humanity and we are destroying it. Would God approve?

Defending yourself with a gun is still taking a life. Endorsing the death penalty is still taking a life. Yes, maybe these people have screwed up their chances, but it's still a human life, right?

Yes, I am pro-choice. That doesn't mean I am pro-abortion. As Obama rightly said, no one is pro-abortion. That's ridiculous and that's what your arguments seem to suggest. I think if a woman is raped, or keeping the baby might kill her, or she is ill-equipped to bring up a child, then yes- she may choose to have an abortion. Sometimes contraceptives fail. That's not the woman's fault either. And if you chalk all these things up to the will of God, then I have to say sir that your God then seems rather cruel. I pity any woman that has to make the choice to whether or not to have an abortion because it can't not possibly be easy, but I believe that she has the right to make that decision, not any religious doctrine or government.

It was clearly written by a very partisan person because it twists the views of liberals into a sort of low-brow caricature of what they really are. Things are much more complicated than that "test" would have you believe. I can't believe someone who is going around trying to win people with completely opposing views over to their side is distributing something like that.

A lot of people don't agree with you. Not with your interpretation of the Bible with regard to abortion, not with Jesus being the only god out there, not with what constitutes mocking the gods one follows, not with the need for forgiveness, not with your interpretation of who is in charge, and certainly not with your right to give any free American orders.

Barack Obama understands that being an American is about freedom--that we all have the right to make our own decisions about our own lives. He understands that no one else can or should make those decisions for us.

You are not what America is about. Your views are not what America is about. America is about freedom--freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of thought. Freedom from the orders of those who do not know us and do not have the right to issue them.

Are you unaware that your religious faith is protected in this country by exactly the same principles that prevent you from imposing it on others? It does not take an enormous degree of mental sophistication to see the logical endpoint of your point of view. I think George Orwell covered it pretty well. In a free society, people have different beliefs and values. It gets a little uncomfortable at times, but for pete's sake consider the alternative.

And is that really the only thing youre gonna judge Obama on? Youre not gonna look at any of the other issues? If your pro-life, do you support the war? Thats a lot of non-life there. Obama wants to end that. But then you probably dont want that to end.

And McCain is definitely not very specific about his views on abortion he seems to change his position wherever he is talking....just saying.
