YA for Obama

Regardless of who is elected, I know who the real leader is.

God simply does not approve of Obama's treatment of children in the womb.

"This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer, who formed you in the womb: I am the LORD, who has made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself,
Isaiah 44:23-25 (in Context) Isaiah 44 (Whole Chapter)

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart. Jeremiah 1:4-6 (in Context) Jeremiah 1 (Whole Chapter)

McCain understands when life begins. Even with two daughters Obama has no clue.

How many commandments have you broken? Did you support it or condone it?

How about me you might ask? All ten.

Yes, abortion is murder. Denying this fact only mocks God.

The great thing is that Jesus forgives. All you have to do is accept and ask for forgiveness.

No God No Peace
Know Jesus Know Peace

God is in charge. We are just electing a President.
Now, go vote your conscience.

If you are going to argue the case for Pro-Life, please do not bring in religion, which has no place in politics.

I know...separation of church and state.

I'll pray for the atheists.
It seems Mr. Frazier has decided not to argue back. Maybe hes just a troll. Seems like we should probably stop arguing with him until he comes down off his high horse and decides to respond.
Trolls have a tendency to return to irritate us more. I think he's just scared of us.
No troll here. I have to work.
Here's the thing about abortion:
It is not a political issue, or a religious issue.
It's a personal issue. Granted, politics and religion play a large part in a personal choice.
But abortion should never have been made a political issue.
Here's the thing:
People came to America for the freedom to choose their religion, their leader, their job, their social status, their future. In short, people came to America in order to choose.
Are you going to take that right to choose away from American women?
Abortion is a personal issue.
If, tommorow, I discovered I was pregent, I would not have an abortion. That is because, personally, I am against abortion for myself.
Now, let's think about a certian lady. She'll be nineteen years old next month. She lives in a big city in a tiny, ratty apartment in what we honestly consider a dangerous neighborhood. She hasn't spoken to her father since he walked out on her mom when she was twelve, she has no siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, or grandparents, and her mother is very sick. She works at a gas station selling soda and candy bars for minimum wage. Half the time, she can't afford to feed herself, and, as a result, has some serious health issues. Recently, she was raped. Now she's pregnent. Her doctor tells her that, due to the fact of how sick she herself is, he doesn't believe the baby will make it past a year or two, and, if it does, it will have some severe physical or mental deformities. Personally, she knows she will be unable to feed, clothe, or care for this child.
At some point, you have to draw the line between what's worse; a miserable life that could very well contain excruciating pain for this child, no food and no future, or a death the child will never know about.
Because, let's face it, the child, being unborn, will never know what happened.
Now, maybe this women will get an abortion. Maybe she won't. Maybe she knows she'll have issues with her conscience about it later. I don't know. I'm not her; I cannot know what her personal choice would be.
Because that's what abortion should always be and always remain; a women's choice of what she believes is the right choice for her body. It is not a politician's choice, or your choice, nor is is mine. It's her choice and her choice alone.
Tell her to seek out a personal relationship with God. Find a great church that will support her. There are thousands that will. This is a real choice.
I'm not sure whether anyone before me has posted this as well (I don't have time to read all the comments):

Exodus 21:22
Suppose a pregnant woman suffers a miscarriage as the result of an injury caused by someone who is fighting. If she isn't badly hurt, the one who injured her must pay whatever fine her husband demands and the judges approve.

So what the bible basically says that the punishment for causing a miscarriage - better known as abortion - is a fine. (unless the woman is injured, then it's the eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth business).

Now lets take a look at Leviticus 20:8
I have chosen you as my people, and I expect you to obey my laws.
If you curse your father or mother, you will be put to death, and it will be your own fault.
If any of you men have sex with another man's wife, both you and the woman will be put to death

As we can see here the punishment for cursing your parents is death. And sleeping with another man's wife is also death. Now if I'm correct America has one of the highest divorce-rates in the world, which causes a lot of people to sleep with other people's partners.

Do you suggest that cursing your parents or divorcing/cheating should become punishable by death? (Obama isn't against the death penalty =P)
REGARDLESSS of what you or anyone else thinks of abortion, whether you think it's horribly immoral or fantastic, the bottom line is: It's totally irrelevant. The bottom line is, the goverment should not have control over that part of people's lives. You can't make a one-size-fits-all rule. If you think it's wrong, don't do it. In fact, scream your opinion from the rooftops. March in a parade, or hold up posters outside a clinic. You have your right to free speech, and to try to convince others of your point of view. Just as a fourteen year old girl who was raped by her uncle should have the right to make her own choice to get an abortion or not. Whatever you choose is fine, whatever you can live with is up to you. But it is not up to the government.

On another note, don't you think it's just a tad ridiculous not to vote for someone according to their views on ONE single issue? Listen to Obama's other opinions before you make your decision, that's all I'm saying. Also keep in mind that McCain is not one hundred percent anti-abortion either, he just wants it to be much more restrictive. So again, listening to their other stances on important controversial issues is your duty as a voter.
Since you didn't read everything, this is my primary reason. Here are others. Take the attached test and let us know where you really stand.

And you are right it should not be up to the government, because it is up to God.

That test is ridiculous and completely biased. It doesn't say anything about the democratic side of those issues.

And you are right it should not be up to the government, because it is up to God.

That's... nice. But just as dozens of people before me have said, you can't force your religious beliefs on others. As an example, let's say I am a devout buddhist. (Note: I am not buddhist and I have no idea what their stance on abortion is.) You, as (presumeably) a Christian cannot force me to follow your Bible. I'm just as convinced as you are that my religious beliefs are correct. What if I forced you to adhere to the Wiccan faith? You would rebel with everything you've got.
Simply put, since you cannot prove to me (the buddhist) that you are 100% without a doubt accute in your beliefs, you can't force me to do what you only believe to be morally right. It's the gravest violation of the very foundation of my rights as an American. We are the land of the free, and we will NOT be forced into a religion.
What??? Those are exactly the liberal sides of all of those issues. You are just now realizing what a rediculous stance the Democratic Party is taking.

I am not forcing any religion or my beliefs on anyone. Given time I can show you that a personal relationship with God will change your life. I would be able to show you why the Wiccan faith falls short in it's glory to God. Given time. Keep in touch.

Thanks for reading.
Be careful you don't offend those who you wish to "save".

I'm nonreligious. My personal beliefs are a mixture of Buddhism and Wicca. And I am content. I am happy. My beliefs fit me. They make sense to me. I have come to these beliefs on my own.

I am homeschooled. A lot of my friends are conservative Christians. They've tried to convert me. I am sorry to have to tell you this, but I know that Christianity is not the right religion for me. Honestly, some of the tenets are very repulsive to me. Why would I make myself believe in something that is totally not for me? Even more, something that is totally against who I am? You don't know me, so don't tell me that Christianity *is* for me. It's arrogant and presumptuous.

I have found God through these religious debates with my friend. I used to be atheist. However, God has revealed himself to me in a very different form from the Christian god. Really, I don't think I'll ever be a Christian, or I shall be a Christian only in the loosest sense. Because honestly, Christians such as yourself both frighten me and turn me away from the religion.

(And like I said, a lot of my friends are conservative Christians, but we don't talk about religion and politics all that much.)

(And just so you know, Wiccans believe that God exists.)

And you *are* trying to force your religious beliefs on others. You believe abortion is wrong because you believe that God has said so (a lot of people don't think the bible is the absolute truth and/or the word of God). And so you say it should be illegal. That opinion comes from your religion, and you cannot deny it. You see, I believe abortion is wrong, too. However, I know that not everyone believes that, and so I am pro-choice because I understand there are good reasons to have an abortion.
