YA for Obama

This is really scary. The Army Times reported yesterday that the 1st Brigade Combat Team of the 3rd Infantry Division is coming home to the US Oct 1 to "help with civil unrest and crowd control." Oh, Bush, are you expecting civil unrest? You mean when the Republicans steal this election?

Remember, this would have been ILLEGAL under the Posse Comitatus Act passed after the Civil War, which prevented deployment of the military within US borders. . . except Bush did away with Posse Comitatus after Katrina. So now we've got soldiers coming straight from a war zone to do "crowd control" on their own countrymen. How tidy do we think that's going to be? I mean, if you've been in Iraq under enemy fire for, I don't know, 11 months, and you've probably got PTSD, and suddenly you've got student protesters yelling in your face? There is a REASON the military and the police are SEPARATE. Soldiers are not trained to keep the peace at home. They ARE trained to kill.

This is terrifying. What kind of precedent is this setting? And why is mainstream media painted as the “liberal media” when stories like this are continually buried?
Wow, that's a terrifying thought. Especially here in a battleground state. I wouldn't want to see it become a REAL battleground.
Terrifying.
