He was an abused puppy which I somehow managed to foster for awhile- but since I am not allowed to have pets in my apartment, I had to find a good home for him and now a friend of mine actually has him. Of course I have visitation rights and I'm allowed to take him on the weekends if I would like to.

I am a night owl as well, but having to be at work early totally prevents me from staying up too late during the week. Fridays and Saturdays are good for late night chats if you would like to chat. I'll send you my AOL IM screen name. Talk to you soon.

And since I have no idea what your age, race, social status is, or how much general education you have: please understand that I am not putting you down for any of those reasons (or any reason at all... or at all). For all I know you may be a 40 year old woman (or man with the name Angie, but I have always thought it was a female's name) with a PHD in political science and have devoted your entire life to the study of politics. But if you want to get my attention about a website you find interesting, attacking me (or my views) and making broad statements is not the route to go. By presenting a convincing argument(s) my cause me to take time to listen to what you may have to say (or what you have read). But you went a different route and failed to back up your statements with concrete evidence.

Anyways, as I said below... I know that the president does not "REALLY control america" (quote from you) and things are not always what they seem. Another good example of the American public not knowing what is truly happening was the entire Watergate scandal. And I'm sure I could continue to support the fact that the American public really does not know what is going on with more historical evidence (some evidence as recent as the past few year).

Anyways, Sorry if the 1st post sounded abrupt and/or mean. It was not intended to sound that way.

We do not live in a dictatorship. Congress and the senate have more power then the president in many occasions. And historically investors have significant amount of sway. I have taken multiple political science classes over the years (many of the classes from different political view points and even a few classes from teachers that are not American, and they have VERY different views). Four, as in the case I presented to you before with my local elections, there are far less than 100,000 'elite' in the area where I live so the 'common' people must have voted and made a Change. Anyways, I think that with the electoral college, we will always have a 2 party system and it limits the power that the people have.

The only thing that I said to you was voting matters (and gave you an example of where voting does matter) and you retorted by questioning my knowledge. And that really offended me. I am not ignorant about politics, and understand that there is a lot more that goes on behind the scenes then the American public will ever know. The simple fact of Bush's underhanded rise to presidency is a clear cut example of that.
