YA For Obama - The Future of This Site

This site has been the only thing that’s kept me sane during this election. I’ve been going out of my mind with anxiousness. I needed a place to cool off and share my freaked out thoughts with other people.

This site has been that place.

I’ve met people who were just as nervous as I was, and it helped me so much. It’s much easier to wallow if you’re wallowing with other people. And I did. And I don’t want to lose all these new friends.

What We Can Do - Everyone Under Eighteen

Since about the Bush – Gore election, I’ve been very aware of politics. That is, since about 1st grade. And most of that time has been spent watching everything that’s been going on, and wallowing in the guilt of the knowledge that I couldn’t do anything to help.
