Four Elections + Four Long Years

1992: My parents and I went to see Bill Clinton and Al Gore at a local high school. The energy of the campaign, a campaign for change based on economic and social issues, was infectious. Even though I was too young to vote, I was swept up in the swell of promise. Bill had the charm and charisma of John Kennedy and Hillary was going to be his stylish Jackie. I just knew it!
