When he says Liberalism, he's referring to Classical Liberalism (the only kind that existed in his day), meaning he was what is now known as a Libertarian.
He worked very hard to abolish the income tax, as Libertarians like Aaron Russo and Ron Paul do (did) today.
I love being on multiple Ning sites! I'm on four: Nerdfighters, Geekfighters, YAObama, and FoodTube. I will admit, I've only really been active on Nerdfighters. I hope to be just as active on YAObama (*panicks* Oh no! I only have about two months to be extremely active!...and then Obama wins the election *prays*)
