YA for Obama

I am Eighteen years old, I voted for Obama. I went in with my EDUCATED vote and helped choose the future that I believed would help every American! I kept my posts on my personal web pages, as well as YA for Obama. I did not go and upload blog posts trying to convince everyone at YA For McCain to vote for Obama, no--I stuck to my writing here and let the people come two me.

I log in this morning with three new blogs to view! One bearing the face of Sarah Palin. It seems the little group known as Team Sarah have came across our humble abode. It makes me laugh... Mind you I applaud Charles Blakemore--He came here from Team Sarah but shared his views in a polite way.

I think its very important for any Team Sarah member here to understand two simple facts;

1) I think its fair to say anywhere from 25-50% of the users on Ya For Obama are under the age of eighteen, they can not vote--if you are going to try to change someones mind go for the Voters not the children. They have seen enough hate come from this world--and being bombarded with facts in a area that was once safe if not helping the outlook of Sarah Palin.

2) Would you want your children in a situation of this? Karen Dee had said "I joined your group after one of your members posted something critizing our group on our site and then reiterated it on your site." -- This also goes along with FACT ONE, It was a underage non-voter that carried out whatever it is you are talking about. You would think before you came here you would take an ADULT stance and disregard what had happened.

Regardless what anyone things--Indeed some members of "Team Sarah" must be very uneducated. If you come here, share in a victory, if you have a problem with a member carry it out in a proper manner. Because honestly it is to late to change anyones mind VOTER or NON VOTER about President elect Obama. He is going to be out next President and as an american you have to LIVE with that and GROW UP.

And in the end I would like to conclude that, I do not remember reading ONCE on this site any type of death wish for Sarah Palin OR John McCain... Members of "Team Sarah" posted that they wanted to "throw Michelle Obama under a tank"... one word I can say to that "WOW".

This blog may itch a raw nerve, I'm not trying to start an argument but I feel someone needs to stand up here--and I urge anyone to leave a comment of support--or criticism. Because I assure you even if you criticize my post, I wont send all of my 'troops' here to writing blogs on your website.

A disability is not something to appreciate. You appreciate the work and change that the said person with a disability brings.

We can not control each and every member, but thus far our members have kept their McCain and Palin comments limited.

And you are right we are all Americans. And we have to support our new President, Obama.

God Bless You.

In a way yes.

There is no "Pro-American" there is only America and the Americans. My location on the map does not matter.

Please do note, I do not believe all Palin fanatics are nuts.

I am grasping your words--the underlined fact is that you do not want me to.

Karen, I'm just curious - why does it matter what Devyn's parents do for a living or where he's from?

LOL.

I know you support Palin, and that is enough for me to know you are nuts.

If you must know I am disabled, I have plenty of time to do my research on not only Obama but McCain as well. I grasp what you are saying--but in the end you are not going to change my outlook on the whole thing YES we had one member act up on your site HOWEVER the backlash was not needed.

Education and work ethics have no impact on who I wish to give MY vote to.

The child who posted a comment on your group's website was fourteen. There is a reason that she is legally not allowed to vote. I find it amusing you feel the need to come to our website because of one child's comments. We have many members from YA for Obama who have been viewing your website--they have almost all gone unnoticed.

I feel that you may have had good intentions, but again the child can not vote--and is legally not allowed to make choices for herself. There is an option on the website where you can remove an account--they simply could have been used.

I will repeat the motto that we all have shouted...

YES WE DID!
